SPF DEPOT RECEIVES PRESIDENTIAL AWARD FOR GLOBAL EXPORTS
SPF Depot is headquartered in Bossier City, LA with distribution warehouses in Lodz, Poland, Frankfurt, Germany and Toronto, Canada. Today, U.S. Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross presented SPF Depot with the President’s “E” Star Award for Exports at a ceremony in Washington, D.C. In total, Secretary Ross honored 48 U.S. companies with the President’s “E” Award and 6 companies with the Presidents “E” Star Award, the highest recognition any U.S. entity can receive for making a significant contribution to the expansion of U.S. exports. SPF Depot was awarded the Presidents “E” Award 5 years ago for exporting. The “E” Star Award is for 5 years of continued growth in exporting of US made products and innovative marketing.
“We are pleased to have SPF Depot as one of only six companies in the USA to receive this award, “ said Secretary Ross in his congratulatory letter to the company announcing its selection as an award recipient.
SPF Depot manufactures guns and equipment used to apply spray on truck bedliners, foam insulation and roof coatings. They developed their own brand of solvents, lubricants, pumps and foam insulation blends. They are a distributor for PMC Polymac-USA, Allegro Safety, 3M Safety and IPM Pumps. SPF Depot exports to over 40 countries, including Russia, China, Japan, Spain, Ukraine, S Africa and Israel just to name a few. SPF Depot is owned and operated by Patrick and Frances Gililland.

We are honored to travel to DC to receive the “E” Star Award for recognition of a company we started and built up from our garage to a 10,000’ facility”.
In 2018, U.S. exports were the highest on record with U.S. services at $821.1 billion and U.S. exports of goods reaching $1.7 trillion, demonstrating how American private enterprise can not only survive, but thrive, in the international market.
American companies are nominated for “E” Awards through the U.S. and Foreign Commercial Service office network, located within the U.S. Department of Commerce’s International Trade Administration. Record years of successive export growth and an applicant’s demonstration of an innovative international marketing plan that led to the increase in exports is a significant factor in selecting the overall winners.
