PDA MOVES OCTOBER CONFERENCE ONLINE

 PDA MOVES OCTOBER CONFERENCE ONLINE

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Mission, Ks, – The PDA (Polyurea Development Association) Board of Directors recently voted to move forward with an online conference as opposed to an in-person conference October 2020. During the Board teleconference, members discussed the current variables of the COVID-19 novel virus as well as feedback from surveys sent to previous conference attendees and current members.

PDA is excited to announce its first ever virtual conference, beginning October 26, 2020. This first-ever virtual conference is an online learning experience that provides an important professional education opportunity to individuals in the polyurea and coatings industries. This virtual event will consist of approximately 20 total educational sessions throughout the week (four 30-minute sessions each day), including evening happy hours and virtual networking time. The five-day event will be held completely online via Zoom so participants can conveniently participate from anywhere they have access to a computer and the internet or a phone.

PDA and the Board of Directors are currently working on the schedule, and we are working with speakers who were chosen because of their reputation and expertise in specific topics. These are also individuals who will make this online format as empowering, informative and enlightening as the in-person conference.

Tentative webinar dates are:
  • September 9 – 10 AM Central
  • September 23 – 10 AM Central

Registration will open in the week of June 22. Click here for more information.

About PDA

Beginning in 2000 the Polyurea Development Association (later shortened to PDA) was the trade association that represented polyurea technology.  Its volunteers worked tirelessly to help explain, train and promote this amazing technology.

In the ensuing years, PDA has expanded its reach to include thick-film high performance elastomers as well as still being the leading voice of polyurea technology.  By adding adjacent technologies like urethanes and hybrids that have similar uses, as well as related primers and topcoats, PDA has become a clearinghouse for applicators, formulators, raw material companies and others involved in our industry.
