Extend the Life of Your Rig with These Instructions
Do you need to clean your spray rig for extended storage? By taking the steps below, you will extend the life of your rig and minimize the degradation of o-rings and other components.
The following instructions provide contractors with a proper method to shut down spray rigs for extended storage using products from Versum Materials. These instructions should not be used in lieu of specific instructions from equipment manufacturers.
- Circulate and flush A-side with Dynasolve Iso-Neutralizer if liquid isocyanate is present.
- Flush A and B sides with Dynasolve CU-6. CU-6 may be strained and reused if additional flushes are desired. Mild heating will produce faster results.
- Flush system with Dyna-Lube 1-3 times to remove CU-6.
- Pump Dyna-Lube into the system until it fills all areas of the unit.
- Store unit, preferably in a cool, dry place.
