80 ft. High Concrete Mixing Plant Posed Challenges

80 foot vertical tower posed many challenge

This SPF spray job, in Cleveland, Ohio, was performed by Don Gibbins. The concrete mixing plant needed to stay warm inside year-round while trucks go in and out to fill-up with concrete. There were significant hurdles on this project to get various lifts to work around equipment while applying materials to the 80′ vertical walls. The job was accomplished successfully.

There were several challenges for this project. First, the staging of the electrical scaffolding for the 80 foot vertical installation had to be done right. Second, was controlling the humidity. Multiple, large fans were installed to decrease the humidity, which was monitored by humidity gauges.

Don Gibbins has been a spray foam applicator since 1975. Over the years, Don has had national and international experience as an SPF applicator which includes such faraway place as Mongolia!
