There was something for everyone at the ICAA convention in Orlando, Florida. Attendees gave the event an enthusiastic two thumbs up. Here is some of the feedback we received while talking with attendees during the event:
“All the topics were very good and very applicable to me. I like the networking and the opportunity to share ideas. Being able to meet the exhibitors face-to-face makes a difference.”
- Terry Lemery of American Building Systems
“The ICAA gives me an opportunity to learn about the industry on a national and global scale. I’ve also learned a lot from larger companies which has helped our company grow. Many of the connections I’ve made at ICAA have evolved into close relationships with those who have a greater or specialized area of expertise.”
- Chris Chisholm, Ward Insulation
“I’ve been in the industry for 27 years, and I’m passionate about it. I feel that the membership dues I pay are well worth what I receive in return from ICAA--especially since a portion goes for lobbying and promoting the industry. Coming to the ICAA over the years has opened up a whole library of information that has been extremely beneficial to me. Each time, I learn something new that helps my company grow. It’s definitely worth the trip.”
- Jeff Richardson, J & K Insultation
“The educational component was excellent and informative. I like being able to meet and talk with the vendors in person.”
- Ed Blanchard of Davidson Insulation & Acoustics
“I’m all about staying up to date on the latest and greatest in the industry, meet the equipment exhibitors and foam suppliers. I especially like having the chance to sit down with the larger companies and learn from them. The mentoring I get is so valuable.”
- James Khun, Virginia Foam Insulators
“The ICAA helps me keep up with building science, codes and regulations. I’m able to gain a better understanding of the housing market and make valuable connections with other companies.”
- Bruno Xavier, Mass Green Insulation
“I try to make it to all of the ICAA conventions. I gain more general knowledge each time I attend. There’s always something new to learn.”
- Jason Fuller, Builder’s Insulation
“I like the open forum. It feels comfortable because I can go to the presentations that pertain to my interests. The face-to-face interaction with exhibitors has allowed me to build relationships with manufacturers and suppliers.”
- Steve Lord and Matt Hamas with IBP
